Compare the manufacturing route

Continuous flighting is formed as a continuous helix and can suit many repeatable conveyor, mixer and auger requirements. Sectional flighting is produced as individual segments that are joined or assembled around the shaft.

Review geometry before choosing

Outside diameter, inside diameter, pitch and thickness affect which route is practical. Large diameters, heavy sections, special profiles or limited installation access may lead to a sectional approach, while repeatable geometry may suit a continuous route.

Consider material and assembly

Material formability, wear requirements and the planned welding method should be reviewed together. For replacement work, also confirm whether the flight can be installed as a continuous length or must be handled as separate segments.
