How the system works
The motor rotates the auger inside the conveying pipe, moving material to the end of the line. In an automatic feed system, a sensor can stop the line when the final hopper reaches its set level.
Layout discussion
Share the conveyed material, pipe route, line length, feed points, elevation changes and required capacity. These factors determine the practical auger and drive arrangement.
Automatic feed-line application
For livestock and poultry feeding, the auger runs inside a tube between the feed source and hoppers. A final-hopper sensor can be used to stop the motor after the required feed level is reached. This makes the conveying path part of a complete feeding system rather than an isolated component.
Alternative material routes
Flexible auger systems can also be planned for grain or plastic pellets where the pipe route needs to turn or change elevation. Material characteristics, route length, bends, capacity and cleaning requirements should be reviewed before a coil size or drive is selected.

Frequently asked questions
Use these answers as a starting point. Final geometry, material and equipment scope are confirmed from the project information.
What information is needed to review a flexible auger route?
Send the conveyed material, route length, elevation changes, number and radius of bends, feed and discharge points, required throughput and available drive location.
Is the auger selected independently from the conveying tube?
No. The auger profile, tube inside diameter, bend layout, route length and drive arrangement need to be reviewed as one conveying system.
Can inclined or vertical sections be considered?
They can be reviewed, but elevation, bend count, material behaviour and required throughput affect the practical route and drive selection.
What material details should the buyer provide?
Describe particle size, bulk density, moisture, abrasiveness, flow behaviour and any hygiene or cleaning requirements before the auger and tube arrangement is confirmed.
What should be included in a replacement enquiry?
Provide the existing auger outside diameter, section dimensions, hand, coil length, tube dimensions, drive details and photographs of the installed route.
